Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps in Turkey, Q1 2023

In the first quarter of 2023, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Turkey exhibited diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these apps.

Carpooling and Bus experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at 14.2K in late December and peaking at 15.5K in late January. By the end of March, downloads dipped to around 8.7K. Active users showed a slight decline over the quarter, from 47.1K to 38.7K.

Uber - Request a ride saw a steady trend in weekly downloads, beginning at 12.7K in late December and ending at approximately 9.9K in late March. Active user numbers were robust, fluctuating between 328K and 391K throughout the quarter.

inDrive. Save on city rides showed variable download trends, starting at 18K in late December, dipping mid-quarter, and then rising to 16K by the end of March. The app's active users increased significantly, ending the quarter at around 106K from 74.6K in late December.

TAG Sürücü had a noticeable spike in downloads in late February with 20.8K, but generally fluctuated between 2.9K and 11.2K during other weeks. Active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 23.8K in late February and ending at around 17.2K in late March.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver experienced growth in weekly downloads, starting at 1.5K and peaking at 11K in mid-February. Active users also increased, starting at 9.7K and ending the quarter at approximately 20.1K.
